At the meeting with the Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan People's Committee Office, Mr. Pham Minh Hau, Gia Lai Electricity Joint Stock Company (Gia Lai Electricity JSC) proposes to implement the TTC-Phuoc Minh Solar Power Plant Project with capacity of 130 MW, said Ninh Thuan People's Committee Office.
Gia Lai JSC is a member of Thanh Thanh Cong Group (TTC Group), which specializes in energy field with over 25 years of experience. The company has charter capital of VND 750 billion, owner’s equity of VND 1,150 billion, net revenue of over VND 430 billion per year. The company currently operates 15 small and medium hydropower plants in the Central and Central Highlands provinces.
Leaders of Gia Lai Electricity JSC would like to invest in building the TTC-Phuoc Minh Solar Power Plant project (in Phuoc Minh commune, Thuan Nam district), with an area of 206 ha, capacity 130MW and divides into 03 phases of implementation. If this offer is approved, the company will do the best effort for executing the project in the shortest time. The company expects to complete the first phase (5MW) by 2018, the second phase (25MW) by 2020, and the last phase (100MW) after 2020.
The Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan People's Committee Office, Mr. Pham Minh Hau welcomes the Gia Lai JSC’s suggestion. He believes that the company will soon invest in the project, supplying stable power for the socio-economic development of Ninh Thuan province.
At the meeting on 15/02/2017, leaders of EVN GENCO 3 also offers investment in Solar Power project at 03 locations in the province. The first location, Hieu Thien - Phuoc Ninh - Thuan Nam, has an area of 200ha and expected capacity of 135MW. The second location, Ca Ron - Phuoc Minh – Thuan Nam, has an area of 254ha and expected capacity of 150MW. The last one, Phuoc Huu – Ninh Phuoc, has an area of 196ha and expected capacity of 131MW.
Solving the registration of investment in the Solar Power projects of EVN GENCO 3, the Vice Chairman of Ninh Thuan People's Committee Office, Mr. Pham Minh Hau has requested Ninh Thuan Department of Planning and Investment to urgently lead in coordination with other involving units to review the planning for the Solar Power investment sites proposed by EVN GENCO 3; besides, to collect and report to The People's Committee Office for consideration and decision - making.
