(DNTO) - This morning, 4/10, the Blood Donation ATM saves lives program continues to be implemented within the TTC Group with more than 250 volunteers participating in the blood donation. The program also welcomed leaders of the Vietnamese Red Cross and senior leaders of the TTC group.

In the morning of 4/10, at the TTC Group, as part of the program «ATM to donate blood to save lives», the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Vietnam cooperated with the blood transfusion and hematology hospital of Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City organized a blood donation program with the participation of more than 250 volunteers who are leaders, employees and employees of the TTC Group.

The blood donation process is strictly implemented by the organizers, respecting the distancing rules and the 5K principles of the Ministry of Health.

Initially, volunteers who donate blood are subjected to a rapid test for Covid-19 in their own area before entering the blood donation area. After that, they were taken over by the medical team of the blood transfusion and hematology hospital of Ho Chi Minh City. HCM undergoes standard physical screening and determines how much blood can be donated.

Participating directly in the blood donation, Ms Huynh Bich Ngoc - Permanent Vice-President of the TTC Group shared, in addition to production and business, that the group is very interested and appreciates social activities, Therefore, when the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Vietnam launched the “ATM to Donate Blood to Save Lives” program, TTC staff responded and participated enthusiastically.

Mr. Vu Thanh Luu, Vice-President of the Vietnamese Red Cross, thanked the Vietnamese Red Cross Association for its important blood donation program.

Mr. Tien Cong participated in the blood donation program. We know that Mr. Cong has the blood group AB (Rh-), which is very rare in Vietnam.

Earlier, on September 10, in response to the National Steering Committee’s call for voluntary blood donation, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Vietnam coordinated with the Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital of Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City launches the program «Blood Donation ATM Saves Lives» with the meaning «Blood drops give - Life remains, love spreads». As a result, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Vietnam appeals to the young entrepreneur community and member companies; in particular, member companies of the Young Entrepreneurs Association based in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City is mobilizing officials, employees and unit employees to register to participate in voluntary blood donation.

The program continues until the end of October 7, 2021. 

Donating blood to save lives is a noble gesture, containing deep humanitarian significance, the Young Entrepreneurs Association of Vietnam continues to call businesses, organizations and individual members to participate in voluntary blood donation to save patients.

Over the years, TTC’s voluntary blood donation movement has always been closely led and supported by the group’s board of directors. 

Earlier, on April 2, the Joy from Compassion volunteer blood donation program organized by the TTC group in collaboration with the Tan Binh District Red Cross and the DHA Health Clinic raised a total of 213,5 units of blood from over 150 participating staff. This is a program organized by TTC without interruption for 10 consecutive years, and not only in Ho Chi Minh City. Ho Chi Minh City, which in all provinces and cities where affiliated units are located, demonstrates its responsibility towards public health in general and patients in need of blood in particular, to work together to overcome the blood shortage in hospitals and medical facilities.
