The Thanh Thanh Cong Tourist JSC (TTC Hospitality), a member of the TTC Group, recently opened TTC Hotel Premium – Angkor in Cambodia’s Siem Reap, near Angkor Wat. This is the first four-star hotel of TTC Hospitality overseas.

In harmony with peaceful and ancient Siem Reap, TTC Hotel Premium - Angkor is decorated in a traditional Khmer style but is modern and comfortable, with a Presidential Suite and 84 four-star rooms.

TTC Hotel Premium - Angkor also offers a wide range of luxurious and classy services, such as a restaurant, a bar with personalized and weather-customized menus, a swimming pool, a limousine shuttle service, and so on.

The hotel was renovated from the Golf Angkor in March. After equipment investment, staff training, and the recruitment of new staff, the outlook of Golf Angkor has truly changed.

According to Mr. Nguyen The Vinh, Chairman of TTC Hospitality, Cambodia has potential as a tourism market and the opening of TTC Hotel Premium - Angkor will contribute to meeting accommodation and entertainment demand among visitors to Siem Reap.

“The presence of TTC Hotel Premium - Angkor in Cambodia also demonstrates our determination to bring the image of the TTC Hospitality brand to many international tourists in Cambodia, as well as being the launch pad for the outstanding plans of TTC Hospitality for international markets in the future,” Mr. Vinh said.

TTC Hotel Premium - Angkor is a ten-minute drive from Siem Reap Airport, five minutes from the city center, and 3 minutes from the Khmer Cultural Village.

According to Cambodia’s Ministry of Tourism, the Top 10 sources of overseas tourists to Cambodia are China, Vietnam, Laos, South Korea, Thailand, the US, Japan, the UK, Malaysia, and France. It welcomed 5.6 million tourists last year, an increase of 11.8 per cent compared to 2016, with gross revenue standing at $3.63 billion. Siem Reap attracted nearly 2.5 million tourists. This is evidence that demand for travel and accommodation in Cambodia in general and Siem Reap in particular is huge.

According to an online survey, the period from December to January every year is the peak for tourism in Cambodia. Almost all hotels are fully occupied, especially in Siem Reap, with occupancy at nearly 100 per cent. Such figures show that Cambodia is a popular destination in Southeast Asia and that the country’s hospitality sector is growing and holds potential.

Besides operating travel services in many countries around the world and investing in accommodation in Cambodia, in the future TTC Hospitality will continue to promote outbound travel business to markets of potential such as South Korea and Japan.

TTC Hospitality currently has 20 properties, including three- and four-star hotels and resorts, conference centers, and amusement parks in Vietnam. After its merger with the Thang Loi Tourism JSC in April, its market share in Nha Trang, Phan Thiet and Da Lat stands at 3.48, 3.74, and 17.02 per cent, respectively.
