The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has just issued a document announcing a list of 6 housing construction investment projects in the city where foreign organizations and individuals are permitted to own housing.
According to the attached list, the largest project is The One World Housing Investment and Construction Project, invested by Kim Oanh Investment and Development Joint Stock Company of Ho Chi Minh City, located in Thuan Giao ward, with a land area of over 49 hectares.
Two housing projects in Binh Trung Dong ward (now Binh Trung ward) are also on the list. Specifically, the project invested by Binh Trung Moi Real Estate Company Limited has an area of nearly 5.8 hectares; the other project is implemented by Doan Nguyen Housing Investment and Business Company Limited with an area of over 6 hectares.
Ho Chi Minh City has 6 more projects for sale to foreigners.
In District 6 (now Binh Tay Ward), the mixed-use apartment and commercial project, developed by Minh Anh Real Estate Services Co., Ltd., is located at 765 and 751/8 Hong Bang Street, covering an area of over 5,657 square meters.
Another notable project is the high-rise mixed-use apartment and office complex at 301 Ben Binh Dong Street, Ward 14, District 8 (now Phu Dinh Ward), developed by DHA-D One Joint Stock Company, with an area of over 8,000 square meters.
In addition, the Phu Dong Skyone apartment project, developed by Phu Dong 5 Investment Co., Ltd., is located on DT-743A Street, Chieu Lieu Quarter, Tan Dong Hiep Ward, covering an area of over 5,300 square meters, and is also included in the list.
The Ho Chi Minh City People's Committee has assigned the Department of Construction the responsibility of publicly disclosing detailed information on projects in accordance with regulations to ensure transparency.
According to regulations, for a condominium building, including mixed-use buildings, foreign organizations and individuals are allowed to own a maximum of 30% of the total number of residential units in that building.
In cases where a condominium building has multiple units or blocks sharing a common base, foreign organizations and individuals are only allowed to own a maximum of 30% of the total number of residential units in each unit or block.
When wishing to own housing, foreign individuals and organizations must provide documents proving their eligibility to own housing in Vietnam.
